TRAINING OF HEADTEACHERS

We train headteachers in order to equip them with sound managerial skills to attract public trust. There are 139 headteachers who manage 139 schools in Central East education division. The headteachers receive training on various aspects of management to ensure proper operation of schools. The trainings take place at three levels. At cluster level, the headteachers within a cluster organise themselves for a management training. District level trainings involve all secondary school headteachers in a particular district [see district committees]. We also have divisional level trainings which involve all headteachers in the education division.
